Secondary Source Inspired. //
Here are designs that i have created, influenced by secondary sources that i have scanned in from my journal. I personally believe that the outcome did not turn out as expected as it looks a bit too simple than minimalistic-like (opinionated) but i am content with it as it gives me a more open mind of how to keep my style broad a creative also my aim was to primarily try and create the designs below in the style of my secondary sources so i never really had intentions of creating it with my own style of development. I do like the idea of having typography rotated on the side, not just centred and facing us all the time. I have used the photos that i have taken of the 3d glasses and a pair of trainers to represent my personal study of household items. I have implementations of my artists style, such as saul bass’ use of having reference to his years of his designs, in this case i have imported my birth year of 1993 to represent my existence. In terms of typography i really do like to inject play on words to give it more of a friendly tone towards the outcomes/ ‘just kicks no punches’ i thought of and it may not seem correct, content wise but ‘kicks’ in a socialect meaning, means footwear so i took this on by linking it with the trainers that i used within the piece.
